A cluster of Zhuhai local marine and unmanned system companies, organized by Zhuhai Exhibition & Convention Group, attended IMDEX ASIA 2017, taking place from May 16-18, 2017 in Singapore.
IMDEX Asia is Asia Pacific’s premier international maritime defense show featuring warship display and demonstration. IMDEX 2017, the 11th edition in the series, attracted some 230 companies from 29 ocean powers, including China, the U.S., Russia, France, and Japan.
The Zhuhai delegation, comprising12 Zhuhai local companies, including Yunzhou-Tech, the leading USV (unmanned surface vehicles) developer, Zhuhai Yintong Agriculture Science Ltd, which focuses on agricultural drones, and several boat & yacht manufacturers, was led by Cathy Su, General Manager of Zhuhai Exhibition & Convention Group.
As part of the Going Global strategy, it was the second time this year for Zhuhai Airshow Co; Ltd., the official organizer of Airshow China and its parent company, Zhuhai Exhibition & Convention Group, to group domestic companies for outbound trade shows. Earlier in April, Zhuhai Airshow Co., Ltd. acting as an agent for Rotorcraft Asia 2017, a helicopter & UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) trade event in Singapore, organized the Chinese UAV pavilion to the show.
Echoing China’s One Belt One Road Initiative, more and more Zhuhai local businesses start to explore overseas market along the ancient maritime silk routes. As the organizer of Airshow China, Zhuhai Exhibition & Convention Group has established good partnership with trade show organizers in this region and is well-positioned to help domestic aerospace, maritime, and high-end equipment businesses to exhibit at outbound shows. Cathy Su said.
