In recent years, Chinese civil aviation industry has made dramatic progress and China has become the fastest-growing market in the world. However, the market for general aviation, helicopters in particular, has been neglected due to various restrictions. The recent earthquake in Sichuan Province proved that helicopter is the most efficient tool for rescue efforts, especially in the mountainous Western China. Currently, there are only 400 helicopters in use in China’s public service, such as police, rescue, and fire control, far from being enough. With the rapid and stable growth of economy, China will need 1600 more helicopters for its public service authorities at different level by 2010, according to industry insiders.

To meet the market demand, Airshow China 2008, which is to be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong on 4th-9th Nov. 2008, is committed to matchmaking helicopter vendors with potential Chinese buyers. Our “Buy Program” team is inviting purchasing decision makers from police, rescue, fire control departments and other related organizations. A series of conferences and events are also being planned for helicopter vendors to promote their products.

Welcome to join Airshow China 2008 with your helicopters, and to feed the imperative demand of the market.
