MAKS 2007 and Aviation Expo/China 2007 were held respectively in Moscow and Beijing in August and September.  As the organizer of Airshow China, Zhuhai Airshow Co. Ltd. attended the above two trade shows after attending the 47th Paris Airshow in June.

The returning and the new exhibitors have shown their clear-cut intention to exhibit at Airshow China 2008, including EADS, Airbus, Boeing, Safran, AgustaWestland, Thales, GE, IAE, Pratt & Whitney, Selex, Bombardier, Aviaexport, Rosoboronexport, IRKUT, Yakovlevs, Sukhoi, Salut, MiG, etc.   Meanwhile, with the launch of Large Aircraft Project and development of Chinese aviation and aerospace market, more and more companies intend to explore Chinese market through Airshow China.  Exhibitors such as Lufthansa, Goodrich and Airservices Australia have shown positive attitudes to Airshow China 2008.  GIFAS and A.I.A.D will encourage their members to come to Airshow China.  In addition, new aircrafts are likely to be on display next year.

Chinese aviation and aerospace market attracts the world, with its large potential, the development of large aircraft, regional airliners, as well as the growing opportunities in aircraft leasing and the successful launch of the lunar orbiter “Chang’e I”.  The 11th Five-year Space Development Plan, which was introduced not long before, calls for strengthening international cooperation and scaling up opening.  All of these could provide a better opportunity for better cooperation between companies home and abroad.
