Airshow China is the only international aerospace trade show approved by the State Council that takes place biennially in Zhuhai. It features the display of real-size products, trade talks, technological exchange and flying display. Since 1996, the Show has been successfully held for 10 sessions and has become one of the most famous airshows in the world. It is a gateway for international aviation and aerospace enterprises to showcase the latest technology and products in the fast-growing Chinese market.
Airshow China 2014 was regarded by industry insiders as the biggest and most successful ever in the Show's history. The Show registered 700 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, with 350,000 sqm of net indoor exhibition space and 130 aircraft on display, including a large variety of business jets and private aircraft. Compared to 2012, the Show has drastically increased all major figures and facts. The business turnover during the Show days hit a new high of 23.4 billion US dollars involving 330 aircraft of various types. On sideline of the show, there were 68 high-profile forums, press conferences and contract signing ceremonies, with highlights on China's booming general aviation market and private aircraft ownership. The Show has attracted a total of 330 media, in addition to 13,000 trade visitors and 28,000 public spectators. Airshow China 2016 will take place from Nov 1st-6th,2016 in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China.
